Case Support Officer 

Job Description
Job title Insolvency Case Support Officer
Location Guiseley, Leeds
Reports to Case Manager

 

Job summary
The Case Support Officer will provide effective and efficient administration support to the Case Manager and ensure that internal and external clients receive a quality service.  This includes but is not limited to investigations, collating books and records, dealing with creditors and directors.

Having experience of working in an insolvency practice is preferred but not essential.  You may gained experience of accountancy or legal role.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, be experienced in dealing with high workloads, be able to manage your time and workload efficiently and have a healthy attitude to team working.

 

Job tasks
1 To deal with enquiries and provide information to clients, creditors, directors and stakeholders.
2 Working with Case Manager on Liquidations, Administrations, Bankruptcies and Voluntary Arrangements.
3 Assisting with the preparation of statutory documents
4 Liaising with the Companies who are experiencing financial difficulties, dealing with creditors and employees.
5 To take responsibility for own personal development in line with the annual performance objectives
6 Learn statute of insolvency
7 To work as part of a team with all staff to meet the department objectives

Education, training and qualifications A levels or equivalent

Good Numeracy skills

Excellent written skills

Degree
Skills Microsoft packages (Word, Excel) IPS

 

Personal attributes Well presented, professional at all times

Good communication skills face to face and by phone

Knowledge and abilities Willingness to learn and progress

Conscientious with excellent attention to detail

Experience of case work and working in a confidential environment

Insolvency experience

Other Flexibility to work in other offices as required
